On Sunday mornings, we have many opportunities for children to learn about the love God has for them. Sunday school classes are broken down into Pre-K/Kindergarten; 1st & 2nd; 3rd, 4th, & 5th. There is also a nursery available for children under the age of 3 during Sunday school and for 3 yrs. and under during the 8:30 & 10:50 a.m. church morning services. The 1st grade-Sr. High classrooms are found on the second floor of the education wing of the church and the Pre K-Kinder grade classes is found on the first floor. We have two worship services available on Sunday mornings. The first is at 8:30 a.m. and the later begins at 10:50 a.m. Children serve as acolytes at both services and there is a children’s sermon as well. Children in grades 1st-5th are welcome to come on Wednesday evenings from 3:45-5:00 p.m., starting on September 11th. We have various games and activities that teach the children about the Bible and the love God has for them! Be sure to print and fill out the registration form below. If your child is a part of the First United Methodist Church of Mason, they will need to fill out an updated Child/Youth Information & Release Form for 2021.
Sunday school for the Jr. High (6th- 8th grade) and High School is from 9:45-10:40 a.m. The classrooms are on the second story of the education wing. The youth also occasionally serve in the worship services as ushers and lay readers. We are looking for Sunday School volunteers. Confirmation is available for anyone in sixth grade on up, who has not yet been a part of a Confirmation class.
Our Lent Family Pancake Supper was a success! Thank you to all of our wonderful leaders in Education for putting this together. The wonderful games and the chance for our families to learn all about Lent. Also a big Thank You to our United Methodist Men for making our delicious meal.
